  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD): Intense emotions, unstable relationships, impulsive behavior.

  • Narcissistic Personality Disorder: Need for admiration, lack of empathy.

  • Antisocial Personality Disorder: Disregard for others’ rights, lack of remorse.

  • Avoidant, Dependent, Paranoid, and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorders: Each affects interpersonal and emotional functioning differently.

Treatment: Psychotherapy (Dialectical Behavior Therapy and CBT), and sometimes medication for associated symptoms.
